Chanet Smith

As an Asian American, Chanet brings a worldly and cultural perspective to design. She studied Art, Architecture, and Visual Culture in Europe — where interiors found her — and her expertise lies in colour use and artistic detail.

With her partner she founded the firm in Las Vegas to make one-of-a-kind spaces with functionality, art, and timelessness at their core. Playing with texture, dimension, and color, any space can be curated into something beautiful.

Michelle Shaver

Originally from Iowa, Michelle came to Las Vegas 25 years ago and began her career in hospitality — a background that still shapes how clients are treated here, and that builds trust into the studio’s process. She graduated in 2009 with a BFA in Interior Design and opened MIC & NAY with her partner.

Project management, quality control, and deep design knowledge are her territory; approachable spaces that stand the test of time are her signature.

01 Darwin dela Pena Junior Interior Designer

Design, for Darwin, is bringing styles together into a habitable, pleasing space for daily living. With a background in high-end residential design, he develops proper and creative space planning — set with functionality, purpose, and importance — backed by proficient knowledge in multiple programs.

02 Michelle Auerbach Junior Interior Designer

Michelle supports the creative design process with a blend of precision, curiosity, and heart. With a degree in interior design and an intuitive eye for thoughtful detail, she brings the fun, collaborative energy to every phase of a project.

03 Lexia Segura Procurement and Operations Specialist

Lexia is the steady hand behind the purchasing process, known for meticulous attention to detail and follow-through. She manages MIC & NAY’s scheduling and delivery logistics — keeping projects running smoothly for designers and clients alike.
